It’s about time we did a Friday Reads post around here.
And why not give it a theme? Christmas. Because it’s that time of the year.
My Kid’s Insane Christmas Wish List, Annotated is hilarious because this seven-year old is seriously ambitious and imaginative, just as her dad is. So, so funny.
A Ten-Month Old’s Letter to Santa is also very funny. I distinctly remember what my son wanted at that age: cardboard paper towel and toilet rolls, empty diaper and wipes boxes, an iPhone, keys, fistfuls of hair, and my earrings (bonus gifting points if they were hoops!).
If you’re a parent, you’ve heard of Elf on the Shelf. We haven’t bought one, nor do I plan to, because, well, I’m a little like the parents in Dear Perfect Elf on the Shelf People, an Open Letter.
And P.S. If you know us in real life, Future President would love a quiet book from WUKA for Christmas. Because his mother is way too lazy and not imaginative enough to make one.
