Friday Reads

We Found Our Son in the Subway
A beautiful parenting story about a man’s discovery of a small child and how it brought him and his partner together.

Splendid Visions
Another parenting essay, this time about whether a family should move away from the big city (Boston) to raise their child. This resonated with me, since I grew up in the urban jungle, the concrete metropolis that is Hong Kong.

Nora Ephron’s Final Act
A son’s recollection of his last few weeks with his brilliant mother, author and director Nora Ephron.

And finally, something funny from Crappy Pictures: Parenting  – I Quit. As usual, she hits the nail on the head. I’m so glad for honest bloggers who care enough to tell the truth.
