Design Mom has what I consider the perfect Christmas gifting rule for what Santa (Santa? Does he or doesn’t he? That’s another topic for another time.) brings her children: something to read, something to wear, and something to play with. Her kids get other gifts from other family members and friends, but Santa only brings three things to each child.
I really like this idea.
I already broke this rule, however.
So far, he’s getting this Green Toys tug boat, this Lego construction mat, and these tiny TOMS. I suppose if I wrap the boat in the construction mat, I will only slightly be breaking my own rule. Now to find him the perfect new book to read. Any suggestions for a train, planes and automobile-obsessed toddler?
