Like Christmas, this is the first March in a long time I haven’t had at least a week off to do nothing. G is here in SLC visiting, but he has three papers due by the end of the weekend, so I decided to work most of the week. Thankfully for him, I happen to work in a quiet, clean library, so he spent the afternoons this week studying there while I wrote on my work blog, read a fascinating book called The End of Lawyers?, and helped people.
But today, it’s vacation! Which means sleeping in, catching up on Chuck and BSG, and eating doughnuts from the Banbury Cross Doughnut shop. Tomorrow we might go outlet shopping. Or not. That’s the beauty of vacation. We don’t have to plan.
As I write this, I’m wearing a tanktop and capri pants. It’s that warm in my apartment. Thankfully, unlike Seattle, apartments come with a/c. We’ll need it this summer (or sooner).
