Last Word

I hate how I can never think of brilliant words when it matters most: when I’m playing a board game or online Scrabulous. Last night, we had 6 friends over to play board games, including Taboo, Cranium, and Last Word. My online Scrabulous scores aren’t impressive by any means, and it’s embarrassing that my biologist sister can beat me, the English major.

On the upside, the fact that we had 6 friends over means my friend drought is over. Oh, how I hated D.C. We never, ever had 6 friends over in that dreadful city, and come to think of it, I didn’t even have 6 friends there. I am so glad to be back.
