The same day I found out I had been accepted to the U, G and I went on a free date to see an outdoor production of Shakespeare’s Love’s Labour’s Lost. I had never seen or read the play, so it was great to see it performed by an outstanding theatre group, and their interpretation of the story as set in the 1960s was hilarious. It was the perfect night in DC–no humidity and I actually got a little chilly at the end. We took a picnic supper and enjoyed the fact that we were in a park in the middle of DC. If you get a chance to enjoy a free Shakespeare production like this one, you should!
